Dozens of haredi men protested outside a Ramle jail on Friday, throwing stones at guards and destroying property.
The protestors were demonstrating in support of a haredi man who was jailed on suspicion of setting fire to a cellphone store in Jerusalem in October.
Four jail guards were injured from the stones and required medical attention.
