Intercepted rocket lands in Netivot parking lot, no injuries

Pieces of an intercepted rocket landed in a parking lot between buildings in the town of Netivot on Saturday afternoon. 

A bomb disposal unit from the Israel Police arrived on the scene in order to investigate and search for other possible pieces of the rocket.

The site was closed off to ensure the safety of the rescue forces and local residents of the nearby houses. The police called on the public not to come to the scene, to stay in a protected area and obey the instructions of the police.

No people were injured by the fallen rocket.
