Ariel University said on Friday that it has banned Israeli singer Eyal Golan from performing on its campus premises as part of the Student Day events.
Golan was banned from the event surrounding the controversy of sexual offense allegations.
Following the initial announcement of his performance, dozens of lecturers at the academic institution signed a petition calling for the cancellation of the show. The Student Union is holding a poll among its members on whether to have Student Day celebrations without the Israeli singer or move Golan's performance to a different location.
