Health Ministry launches team to examine IVF scandals in Israel

Israel's Health Ministry announced on Monday it was launching a team of officials to examine the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) departments at various Israeli hospitals following reports of a new scandal at Assuta, the second of its kind in less than a year.

Health Ministry Director-General Moshe Bar Siman Tov further ordered the temporary transfer of all ongoing IVF treatments to be carried out in Israel's public hospitals, rather than private ones, due to abnormally high demand.
