Libya govt says it conducted airstrikes in western areas

Libya's Government of National Unity in Tripoli said on Thursday it had carried out airstrikes against smugglers of fuel, drugs and people in western coastal areas of the country.

Three residents of the city of Zawiya, west of Tripoli, said they had heard blasts in the city over the past two hours and local media reported that drones had targeted armed factions there.
