Israel's Netanyahu congratulates Erdogan on winning Turkey's elections

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday over the latter's victory in the recent runoff elections, the Prime Minister's Office announced on Twitter.

Speaking over the phone, the two world leaders discussed strengthening ties between the two countries. Erdogan also expressed his thanks to Netanyahu for Israel's aid following the earthquakes that struck the country back in February.
