National Unity leader MK Benny Gantz will not submit a candidate from his faction for the opposition's spot in the Judicial Selection Committee, he announced on social media on Wednesday morning.
"We cannot take a risk at the expense of the State of Israel," Gantz wrote on Twitter, calling on opposition head Yair Lapid and Labor head Merav Michaeli to reach an agreement and find an agreed-upon candidate for the committee.
