Jordan shoots down drone smuggling weapons from Syria

The Jordanian Armed Forces shot down on Friday a drone flown from Syrian territory carrying an unspecified number of weaponry, the military announced.

The seized weapons were transferred to the relevant authorities, Jordan said, adding that it will "continue to deal with any threats and attempts to undermine and destabilize the security" of its citizens.
