Syrian ammunition warehouse explodes near Damascus - report

An explosion was reported at an ammunition warehouse northeast of Damascus on Monday night, according to opposition media outlets.

Ambulances and firefighters arrived at the scene after the explosion, according to the Capital Voice news site. State news sources have not confirmed the reports.

The reports come just two days after explosions were reported at warehouses belonging to the Fourth Division of the Syrian military due to a "malfunction."
