Police arrest two men on suspicion of threatening Abu Ghosh mayor

The Israel Police arrested two Abu Ghosh residents aged 18 and 20 on Friday on suspicion of threatening the mayor of the town Salim Jaber.

The two are suspected of threatening him during a wedding, telling him: "You will not live until the elections, you will die beforehand." Jerusalem Magistrate Court Judge Bialin Elazar ordered them to be placed under house arrest.
