Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman on Saturday left Riyadh at the head of a delegation to a G20 summit in New Delhi, state media reported.
The crown prince is the kingdom's de facto leader.
The G20 is an economic grouping of the world's 20 major countries formed after the Asian financial crisis in 1999 on the understanding that crises spilling across borders needed better international economic co-operation to tackle them.
It includes Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Britain, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United States and the European Union.
