Defense Minister Yoav Gallant was invited by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to visit Washington and is scheduled to conduct an official visit to the United States during the month of October, according to a Defense Ministry statement released on Sunday.
The two are expected to discuss developing security challenges and opportunities in the Middle East region.
