Israeli forces clashed with Palestinian terrorists near Sa'ad in southern Israel on Monday night, as rocket sirens blared in Sa'ad, Kfar Aza, Nahal Oz, and Alumim, according to initial reports.
Residents of the Sdot Negev Regional Council were ordered to shelter in place amid the reported clashes. According to initial reports, two separate incidents occurred in Sa'ad. In one incident, an individual terrorist clashed with Israeli forces and was killed.
In the second incident, a number of vehicles drove from Gaza into Israel, with clashes erupting between Palestinian terrorists and Israeli forces. Two terrorists were killed in that incident and it is as of yet unclear if more terrorists who entered through the breach with them are still present in Israel.
