Belgian authorities confirm person shot is the perpetrator of Brussels attacks - media

Belgian authorities have confirmed that the person who has been found and shot by the police in Brussels on Tuesday is the gunman who killed two Swedish citizens in the Belgian capital on Monday, RTBF radio said on its website.

The suspected assailant who shot to death two Swedish nationals and wounded a third person in central Brussels on Monday night was shot in a cafe in the Schaerbeek neighborhood of the Belgian capital, Belgian media reported on Tuesday.
