Pro-Palestinian protesters surrounded the United Kingdom’s Houses of Parliament, on the evening of November 15, to demand a ceasefire.
The protests take place as Parliament is scheduled to vote on whether or not to support a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war. Some protesters were removed by authorities from the public gallery after holding up signs in favor of a ceasefire.
The UK Labour Party Leader Kier Starmer has pushed for Labour MPs to vote against supporting a ceasefire. However, a number of MPs have stated their plans to defy the Party leadership and voted in favor of supporting a ceasefire.
