WHO chief: 12 premature babies from Gaza flown to Cairo

The head of the World Health Organization said on Monday on social media platform X that 12 of the premature babies rescued from Gaza's Al Shifah hospital had been flown to Cairo.

Medics transferred 28 premature babies across Gaza's border with Egypt earlier on Monday after being rescued from a hospital in the northern part of the enclave, which has been the main focus of Israeli bombardments.
