Blasts, explosions heard in Israel's Eilat, IDF: possible false intrusion

Blasts were heard in Israel's southernmost city of Eilat amid Israeli reports of echoes of explosions in the city.

The IDF said that "interceptors were launched at two suspicious aerial targets in the Red Sea area, the incident is over.

"The possibility that it was a false identification is being investigated. No intrusion into Israeli territory was detected and no warnings were activated according to policy."

This is a developing story.
