Jerusalem District police officers arrested a resident of easter Jerusalem early Monday morning for having committed suspected sexual offenses against several nine-year-old girls in the Shuafat neighborhood of the Israeli capital.
The arrest came following a slew of complaints about sexual offenses committed against several young girls in the neighborhood, prompting police to open an investigation.
Police tracked down a suspect, a man in his 20s, who reportedly followed minors before committing sexual acts against them months ago.
