Released IDF reservists will have to return soon, military chief says

The IDF is releasing more and more reservists to be with their families, with the knowledge they would be called up again soon, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi told commanders of the Southern Command on Friday morning.

"We understand the tensions that exist for reservists stuck between the battlefield and home," Halevi told commanders inside the Gaza Strip. "We are working according to the plan, withdrawing some forces, knowing well we will call them again."
