Senior Israeli officials on Tuesday told Israeli media that the Qatari and Egyptian mediators have not notified them of Hamas's rejection of the two-month cease-fire deal proposed by the Israeli government.
According to the officials, Israel is still waiting for Hamas's response, and the talks are still underway.
This comes after earlier on Tuesday, Israeli media reported that Hamas had rejected Israel's proposal for a two-month cease-fire in exchange for the release of all the hostages.
