ICC prosecutor believes warring parties committing crimes in Sudan's Darfur

The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, told the UN Security Council on Monday that "there are grounds to believe that presently Rome Statute crimes are being committed in Darfur" by both the Sudanese armed forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and allied groups.

War erupted in Sudan on April 15, 2023, between the Sudanese army and the RSF.
