Gil Shwed steps down as CEO of Check Point after 30 years

Gil Shwed stepped down as CEO of Check Point after 30 years, Walla! reported on Tuesday. 

After a replacement is found, Shwed will be appointed executive chairman.

Shwed remarked, "The time is right for me to focus on Check Point's next leap."
