Israeli prison guard injured in violent outbreak

A prisoner in the Rimonim prison injured a guard by spilling the contents of a hot pot onto him, the Israel Prison Service said on Tuesday. 

Following the incident, prison guards broke into the wing and into the prisoner's cell, using tear gas.

The guard sustained injuries following the attack and was rushed to the hospital for further treatment, the statement added.
