Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's hernia surgery was successful, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) announced on Monday morning.
The prime minister's condition is reportedly good, and he is fully conscious.
The PMO added that Netanyahu expressed his gratitude to the Hadassah-University Medical Center's staff and had been transferred for further recovery.
Later on Monday, the PMO stated that the prime minister was recovering and would be released from hospital on Tuesday.
