The Prime Minister's Office said on Monday night that the War Cabinet had agreed to continue with Israel's planned Rafah operation.
This comes despite Hamas's agreement earlier on Monday to the Qatari and Egyptian ceasefire proposal.
The IDF Spokesperson said that the military was operating against Hamas terror targets in Eastern Rafah.
