Following alerts activated in northern Israel earlier on Thursday, around 40 projectiles were detected as crossing towards the Galilee and Golan region, the IDF stated on Thursday.
Two individuals were lightly wounded by shrapnel in the Golan Heights, the Magen David Adom (MDA) spokesperson announced. MDA teams provided medical treatment and referred two men, aged 21 and 25, to Ziv Medical Center in Safed.
The IDF noted that several launches were successfully intercepted by Israel's air defense. A number of falls were identified, causing fires to break out in the area.
From 14:00 five suspicious aerial targets were identified, with the IDF Aerial Defense Array intercepting three of these targets.
