An explosion was heard in the Mazzeh area of Damascus on Monday, Syria state media said.
Authorities were investigating the incident, the Syrian state media noted.
According to a later state report, at least one person has been killed in a "guided missile attack" on a car in the Mazzeh area of Damascus.
IDF has confirmed it undertook the attack in Syria and that the target was a Hezbollah official connected to terror financing.
