Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei met with Ziyad al-Nakhalah, the Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, and his delegation in Tehran on Tuesday, the Iranian leader announced on X.
Rabbi Metzger's attorney, Yehuda Fried, said "Rabbi Metzger was shocked to learn of the suspicion attributed to him and categorically denies the allegations."
"The Rabbi trusts the investigating authorities to verify the facts and in doing so, he has fully cooperated with the investigating authorities. We have no doubt that after a brief investigation, it will become clear that there is no truth to the allegations."
