12 fire and rescue teams from the Southern District are working to extinguish a fire at the Rotenberg power station in Ashkelon, the Fire and Rescue Authority said on Thursday.
According to reports, the fire started in the gas collector of a power generator near the chimney.
The firefighters are expected to continue fighting the fire for the coming hours.
