As Liberman resigns, Deri advises Netanyahu to call for elections

Interior Minister Arye Deri advised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to follow Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon's suggestion and call for elections, during a meeting the two had on Thursday.
Deri added that setting a date for elections would be the best move for the country.
Kahlon made the same suggestion earlier on in the day because he thinks it is imperative to have a stable government after Defense Ministry Avigdor Liberman resigned.
Liberman quit because he disagreed with Netanyahu's decision to call for a ceasefire following the barrage of rockets on the Gaza border this week.
