Assailants throw grenade at Petah Tikva court

Unknown assailants threw a fragmentation grenade at the Petach Tikva house of a court registrar late Tuesday night.
Police would not say Wednesday if Meirav Eliyahu was at home when the incident took place or if any damage was caused, though the shockwaves from the grenade reportedly shattered the front windows of her house.
Police said that because of the sensitivity of the case they have handed over the investigation to the special YAMAR investigation unit, and were reluctant to give out any more details about the incident.
The spokeswoman added that police investigators are currently going through all of the cases that Eliyahu worked on to see if someone tried to lash out at her in revenge, or in order to try and influence one of the cases she is working on.
