Attorney suspected of selling apartment to 6 buyers

An attorney from Nazareth was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of selling an apartment he does not own to six different buyers.Police say the man, 31, pocketed NIS 1.5 million shekels in advance payments for the home in the alleged scam.Police launched an investigation three months ago after receiving a complaint from a contractor, who reported receiving a query from a bank seeking information about the property on behalf of a potential buyer.The contractor became suspicious after realizing that the home was not for sale.
