Attorneys association discusses proposal to end strike

The State Attorneys Association on Monday discussed the proposal of Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein and the finance and justice ministers to renew negotiations to end the prosecutors' strike, reported Israel Radio.

According to the proposal, the negotiations would take place directly and continuously for a week, with the help of Histadrut Chairman Ofer Eini, and in return the prosecutors will ease the strike.

If the parties do end up reaching an impasse in the negotiations, the attorney-general will consider turning to arbitration.
