Australian cyclist dies of heat stroke in Jordan valley

A 60-year-old Australian cyclist died Saturday after collapsing from heat exhaustion while biking on Route 90 in the Jordan valley.
An MDA team evacuated him by helicopter to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, where was on a respirator in a coma before he passed away.
The temperature was about 44 to 45 C during his ride.
