Austria: Cemetery could contain Nazi victims

Officials said a hospital cemetery in western Austria could contain the remains of up to 220 people killed by the Nazis. The hospital holding company said it became aware of the possibility during planning to dig up the cemetery in Hall in Tyrol province to make way for a construction project.
Spokesman Johannes Schwamberger said work on the construction project has been stopped to allow an investigation and to identify the dead. More than 75,000 people were killed by the Nazis for having physical or mental disabilities.
