Authorities rescue 2 Israeli hikers from New Zealand mountain

Rescue workers in New Zealand evacuated Monday morning two Israelis from a national park after one was injured during a hike, Radio New Zealand News reported.
According to the report, the younger of the two men, aged 22 and 28, slipped and fell while trekking in the Mount Cook National Park.
After deciding that they were unable to carry on, the pair contacted a friend who in turn notified local authorities to call the police.
