Authorities seek remand of car racing suspects

Law enforcement authorities on Tuesday were expected to seek to extend the remand of four suspects before the Acre Magistrate's Court for involvement in car racing in the North which led to an accident.
The races took place at night on Route 805 between Arava and Sakhnin. Two of the suspects were arrested initially in the hospital after the accident, following which the police arrested the other two suspects.
The police also confiscated four Mitsubishi vehicles allegedly used in the racing.
