Axe attack in West Bank leaves Israeli man injured

An Israeli man was lightly to moderately wounded after he was hacked in the chest with an axe on the outskirts of the West Bank village of Luban al-Sharqiyya on Tuesday.
The victim appears to be a settler from the area who had come with several other settlers to a Palestinian village in order to document Palestinian building violations.
After the Palestinians noticed the group's presence, a verbal dispute escalated to violence and the victim was attacked by an axe-wielding Palestinian. Those accompanying the victim managed to overpower the attacker and restrained him until security forces arrived to apprehend him.
