Ayalon meets visiting NATO rep, emphasizes Iranian threat

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon met on Sunday morning with visiting NATO Assistant Defense Secretary-General Jiřί Šedivý to discuss the war on terror and relations between Israel and NATO.
Ayalon and Šedivý met at the Foreign Ministry building in Jerusalem, where the deputy foreign minister briefed his guest on security developments in the region while putting the focus on the Palestinians and the Iranina nuclear threat.
“Israel and NATO members share common interests and values and confront the same challenges and threats: first and foremost, the nuclearization of Iran and its long arm, reaching, through the terrorist organizations, into the Middle East," Ayalon said.
