Bank Hapoalim launches benefits package for seniors

Bank Hapoalim has launched Poalim Gold, a new membership plan directed at new veterans who qualify for a senior-citizen card. This membership program includes a list of discounts, benefits, special events and promotions throughout the year. These rewards range across a number of fields including, entertainment, recreation, cooking and study. All benefits are designed especially for Poalim Gold members at significant discounts, according to Arik Pinto, the head of retail banking at Bank Hapoalim.
“We decided to make a broad move – the first of its kind in the country – for the senior population, due to an understanding of the importance and great impact it has on society and the economy,” Pinto said in a statement.
Promotions are set to change every Monday, called Gold Monday. Some examples of the many promotions are breakfast for two (adult and child) at Café Joe for NIS 49 instead of NIS 83, a specially priced Safari card for NIS 29 instead of NIS 67 and a special price of NIS 49 instead of NIS 76 for a meal for two (adult and child) at any Burgerim restaurant.
Benefits will be offered to customers with discounts and upgrades in a variety of businesses.
