Barak, Noked slammed at meeting of Labor kibbutz movement

The Labor Party's kibbutz movement on Tuesday held a special meeting in Tel Aviv attended by newly resigned ministers, Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, Isaac Herzog and Avishai Braverman.
Loud criticism was directed against Defense Minister Ehud Barak and MK Orit Noked, who was responsible for the Kibbutz movement before she joined Barak in leaving the Labor Party to form the new Independence faction on Monday.
Herzog said of the move to break off from Labor: "What was done yesterday was robbery in broad daylight. The left us through a deceptive act. But we won't hide our heads in the sand. What happened to the kibbutz representatives and to others is that they went behind their backs to a different place and we must demand that they give back the mandate."
