Ahead of Thursday's UN Human Rights Council session on the Goldstone Commission's report on Operation Cast Lead, Defense Minister Ehud Barak spoke on the phone with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and US National Security Adviser James Jones. On Tuesday night, the defense minister spoke with several other world statesmen and diplomats, including the British and French foreign ministers, and urged them not to adopt the findings of the report, which accuses Israel of committing war crimes and possible crimes against humanity during last winter's IDF operation in Gaza.
