Barak thanks Obama for improving US-Israel security ties

Defense Minister Ehud Barak thanked US President Barack Obama for deepening and strengthening security ties during a private meeting Friday.
The two met for the first time in two years, and in an hour-and-a-half-long meeting, they discussed regional issues and challenges faced by the two countries in light of developments and threats in the Middle East.
The Defense Ministry stated that Barak thanked Obama for "deepening and strengthening security ties between the US and Israel during his term in office."
