Barkat: Building in all J'lem neighborhoods will continue

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat on Tuesday told Israel Radio in an interview that construction in the all of the city's neighborhoods will continue and has nothing to do with political matters.
Barkat said that the municipality is promoting construction plans for all sectors of the city's population without discrimination and according to their needs.
Commenting on the issue of the city's Light Rail, Barkat said its operation has been delayed due to security and safety reasons and he is hoping that passengers will be able to use the rail before the start of the next school year.
He added that the city's cleaning services will soon be privatized and noted that tourism in the capital is growing at a fast pace.
