Basketball: Holon shocked at home by Nahariya

Hapoel Holon’s BSL winning streak was snapped in surprising fashion on Monday night, following an 89-86 defeat at home to Ironi Nahariya.
Holon entered the game on the back of three consecutive league wins and six victories from its past seven contests, with its last home defeat to a team not named Maccabi Tel Aviv coming almost four months ago.
After a tight first half ended in a two-point Nahariya lead (40- 38), Holon seized control in the final three minutes of the third period, going on a 14-2 run to open a 13-point gap (70-57).
The hosts looked to be cruising when they moved into a 14-point gap (80-66) midway through the fourth frame, only to completely capitulate.
A 15-2 run brought Nahariya within a single point (82- 81) and Mark Lyons capped the comeback to give the visitors the lead (86-85) in the final minute.
