Bayit Yehudi bids farewell to departing MK Chetboun

Bayit Yehudi wishes departing MK Chetboun 'well on future path'

Bayit Yehudi released a statement on Sunday night, wishing MK Yoni Chetboun, who announced he will be leaving the party, "well on his future path."
Chetboun said late on Sunday that he would not remain in the Bayit Yehudi party for the next Knesset session. He said the party did not do enough to help the weakest sectors of the population.
The Knesset member has been rumored to be pushing for an alliance between National Union head Uri Ariel and Former Shas chairman Eli Yishai.
