Ben-Eliezer meets with King Abdullah to discuss peace talks

King Abdullah of Jordan met with Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer on Sunday in Amman.

King Abdullah said that the Arab League had given the US a big opportunity that obliges both sides to enable the re-opening of the talks.

Abdullah continued, "The talks are are not only important to each side, but are perhaps the only guarantee that can ensure stability in a Middle East that is facing tough challenges."

Ben-Eliezer said that "the Israeli government is making an effort to start the talks in the future. The Arab world, and Jordan as part of it, has an important role to assist in starting the process and to support the sides."
