Ben-Eliezer set to leave hospital on Sunday

Labor MK Binyamin Ben-Eliezer will be released from Asaf Harofeh Hospital in Ramle on Sunday afternoon following six weeks of treatment for flu, pneumonia and other ailments.

Ben-Eliezer and his doctors will speak to the press upon his departure from the hospital to clear up misinformation that has been released about his condition and his treatment.

Sources close to Ben-Eliezer said he deliberately prevented information about his condition from getting out in order to "avoid a media festival" surrounding his health. They said the 75-year-old MK was not considering quitting politics.
