Bennett backs Netanyahu politically but rebukes extravagant gifts

Education Minister and Bayit Yehudi party leader Naftali Bennett responded Wednesday to the police recommendations to charge Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for bribery.
Bennett said he is confident that Netanyahu did nothing to intentionally harm Israel's security or economic well being, but criticized the prime minister for not being a good public role model.
Like the other members of the coalition, Bennett said he would wait to hear the attorney general's conclusion and not call on Netanyahu to step down.
