Bennett to push for Sundays off in coalition talks

Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennett will demand that the next government push for the adoption of a five-day work week in coalition talks, Bennett said in a meeting with his faction.
Bennett wants to see Sunday become a day off from work as part of an effort to reconsider the status quo on matters of religion and state. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu appointed a committee to consider adopting a five-day work-week but its findings have not been revealed. The issue has been pushed in recent years by Vice Premier Silvan Shalom.
